The Department of Social Services participated in a platform and a corner in the activities (Sharjah Voluntary Work Exhibition in its first edition) organized by the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work and in cooperation with the University of Sharjah, with the participation of 22 governmental and non-governmental institutions and volunteer teams in order to display their volunteer work, initiatives and volunteer opportunities during a period of three days, at the Center Female students in the Deanship of Student Affairs at the University of Sharjah. Sindia Abdul Rahman Balaseeb, Coordinator of Voluntary Programs at the Volunteering Center of the Department of Social Services, reviewed the volunteer opportunities that the department implemented during 2018, which totaled seven fixed volunteering opportunities, in addition to that there are opportunities that will be launched according to time and occasion. Al-Naseeb added: The aim of the department's participation in this exhibition is to attract the largest number of volunteers, especially students, to motivate them to do volunteer work.
