The Social Services Department is a local government institution affiliated with the government of the Emirate of Sharjah. The department was established on August 1984, 22 AD, but its actual appearance date dates back to November 1995, 9 when the Emiri Decree No. (1995) of XNUMX was issued. Social Affairs is part of the government of Sharjah, and a fundamental supplement to its efforts in the humanitarian community. The department specializes in providing monthly social assistance to eligible people, establishing shelters for those who lose social welfare, and providing home care and protection services for the vulnerable.
