  • Executive Council Resolution No. (23) of 2022 regulating the work of social activities providers in the Emirate of Sharjah 
  • Submitting a request for a permit for social activities using the digital ID application via the website of the Department of Social Services prepared for this purpose, accompanied by the required documents.
  • Pay the fee for issuing a permit for social activities
  • Auditing and evaluating the application to ensure that the requirements and required documents are met.
  • Field audit of the existing establishment requesting the permit to ensure that all approved operational requirements are met.
  • Issuing a document permitting social activities, according to which the establishment is allowed to engage in social activities in the emirate, as follows:
  • In the event that all requirements are met, the permit will be issued and delivered 
  • In the event that all requirements are not met, a non-objection letter valid for six months will be issued to complete and fulfill the operational requirements
  • Cancellation of the no-objection (initial approval) granted to the facility after the expiration of the deadline without fulfilling all requirements, and the licensing authority is addressed to cancel the license.

  • Submitting the permit application accompanied by the necessary documents and papers

  • A copy of the passport, Iqama, ID for both the applicant and the owner/partner.
  • A copy of the trade license issued by the competent authority.
  • Certificate of good conduct for the owner/partner. 
  • Data of social professionals in the establishment, if any.
  • A copy of the property deed or lease contract for the facility.
  • Field audit report after fulfilling all operational requirements.
