- A service is available to apply for a supplementary grant for retirees from citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah whose pension is less than 17500, whether retirees from the federal or local authorities or the private sector who subscribe to social security funds in the country, leading them to live a decent life.
- Retirees participating in social security funds
- Through the department's website.

- Fill out the service application form electronically through the department's website www.sssd.shj.ae and attach the required documents.
- Verify the validity of data and documents by allowing the Department to inquire electronically or request documents from the relevant authorities
- Upon approval, the bank card issuance form is signed
- Log in with the Emirates ID.
- A copy of the Emirates ID card.

- A statement of the retirement value and destination
- Salary certificate in case of work after retirement.
- A statement of the pension shares in the name of the retiree on behalf of the deceased.
- Signing an acknowledgment of the validity of the data and documents.
- To be a national of the country registered in the Emirate of Sharjah

- The pensioner’s total income from the pension/pensions or current salary should be less than AED 17,500 per month.
- To be registered in the records of retirees at the Department of Social Services
