The Youth Council of the Department of Social Services in Sharjah received a delegation from the Sharjah Youth Council affiliated to the Federal Foundation for Youth, in order to familiarize themselves with the youth business system and benefit from the experiences of the Sharjah Youth Council, and to strengthen cooperation with youth councils at the level of the United Arab Emirates. This came during the meeting held in the Chamber of Martyrs in the circle, in the presence of Abdulaziz Fikry, General Coordinator of the Sharjah Youth Council, and Aisha Issa Al-Souqi, member of the Sharjah Youth Council, in the presence of the youth of the department; Hessa Al Hammadi, the President of the Council, and a number of Council members. Hessa Al Hammadi, head of the Department’s Youth Council, said that such a visit highlights many youth issues and their institutional role, in addition to having a moral impetus for all members to do more in serving the country, adding that the meeting dealt with a number of axes that were represented in the criteria for selecting members , Plans and initiatives that can be implemented. The head of the department’s youth council added that one of the outcomes of this meeting will be organizing youth activities and programs that help in communicating the voices of youth, noting that the department’s youth council seeks to find a dialogue platform that forms a youth arm for the department in all matters related to the needs of young people, their projects and their initiatives. As well as taking advantage of youth energies and competencies, and the ideas, proposals and practices they provide, the council also aims to enhance the work system through developing policies and programs in a manner that ensures the achievement of the department's vision in its strategic plan for the years 2019-2021.
