And it continues until the 15th of this month, and for the second year in a row, the Community Cohesion Department of the Department of Social Services in Sharjah continues to organize this initiative by default due to the Corona pandemic and precautionary measures, so the administration has set up a program full of surprises, entertainment, gifts and knowledge, which is organized throughout the camp days from ten in the morning Until twelve noon. The camp aims to develop children's skills through a range of fields represented in volunteering, organization, teamwork, team communication, sustainable environment, initiative, creativity, innovation, commitment, moral intelligence and other constructive values ​​included in the camp. The camp deals with a number of programs, foremost of which comes volunteering and its great value in the lives of children and the importance of its effects on the individual and society, in addition to the importance of volunteering in making others happy, in addition to enhancing the value of initiative and helping others. According to Hessa Al Hammadi, Director of the Family Cohesion Department, the camp focuses on promoting many values ​​in the lives of our children and formulating them in the form of daily virtual visits, a phone call with a sick or elderly family member and relatives, or training workshops, and the values ​​are: the culture of volunteering in children, And instilling the skills of love of volunteering and investing abilities and skills in the field of volunteering, and learning creativity and innovation, through a project that enhances the ability and skills of the child in volunteer work, for example (the Charity Fund) and making a game for your brother, love of charity and enhancing the value of humanitarian work, and learning the virtue of charity and kinship ties, culture and knowledge And instilling the value of culture and knowledge through a virtual visit to the Dibba Al-Hisn Library and Environmental Sustainability, by instilling the value of sustainability in the hearts of children by preserving the environment. Encouraging them to use and recycle environmentally friendly materials, and to increase the green space in the home garden and take care of it on a daily basis.
