The Department of Social Services has received a delegation from the Sharjah Police General Command, with the aim of presenting the results of the Future Foresight Project for the Security Situation 2030, which was recently launched by Sharjah Police in cooperation with a number of government agencies and civil society institutions, to know future possibilities, discover the expected problems, prepare to face them and discover capabilities. The visiting delegation that came to brief the department on the recommendations of the foresight project headed by Colonel Dr. Khaled Al Hammadi; And the presence of Dr. Lieutenant Colonel Salah Musabah Al Mazrouei; And Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Muhammad Al-Malih And Lieutenant Dr. Nawwaf Al-Jusaimi; In the presence of the Department of Social Services, Kholoud Al-Nuaimi, Director of the Performance Department; Ahmed El-Mail, Director of the Government Communication Department; Fatima Al-Marzouki, director of the Children's Social Welfare Home; Alya Al-Zaabi, Director of the Social Assistance Department; And Fayza Khabab, director of the volunteering center. At the beginning of the visit, Kholoud Al Nuaimi, Director of the Department's Performance Department, welcomed the visiting delegation, appreciating the efforts of the Sharjah Police General Command in its national initiative for a pilot project that anticipates the future of the security situation. Which is the first of its kind at the state and regional level, adding that such initiatives have served various segments of society over the years in a practical, professional and thoughtful manner in various fields. Al-Nuaimi added; This project is an ideal opportunity for the department to use it in developing a strategy map for the next Social Services Department for the years 2019-2021, taking into account the benefit from the rest of the other areas as it is linked to a large number with some of the department's tasks, especially since the project explored 6 basic issues in the field Social issues included women, youth, the elderly, family relations, social status, and children. The Director of the Performance Department pointed out that the department’s relationship with the Sharjah Police General Command; An integrative relationship that enhances joint work between the two sides and contributes to the improvement of the various services provided to society, describing this visit as a positive and effective step, especially as the department has pride and pride in being one of the parties that will have a contributing role in this project. During the presentation of the results presented by Colonel Dr. Khaled Hamad Al Hammadi, Director of the Sharjah Police Research Center; He praised the pioneering role of the Social Services Department in the success of the outlook project for the emirate, and that is its area which is one of the main pillars of the project, since the area of ​​the department is an area of ​​its importance, especially as it relates to the societal aspect, which is the backbone of the various developmental efforts for any society. The Director of the Sharjah Police Research Center indicated that the project includes a number of different fields and specialties, and one of the most prominent areas is the social aspect that was foreseen in cooperation between the Sharjah Police Research Center and three government agencies, including the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, the Sharjah Social Services Department, and the Social Support Department of the leadership With the participation of 16 experts, their work took 20 hours of foresight.
