The Department of Social Services in Sharjah and Kayan Engineering Consulting signed a cooperation agreement on providing architectural design services to build housing for those entitled to social security in the department and for people with limited income in the city of Dhaid, on the occasion of the "Year of Zayed" initiative. The conclusion of the cooperation agreement comes as an implementation of the concept of institutional partnership within the "solidarity project" through which the two parties seek to improve the quality and service of society and raise the standard of living for deserving groups in order to reach them with a decent life, and which provides the opportunity for institutions and agencies to grant benefits, discounts, support and special services to eligible groups of social security. The agreement was signed at the department’s headquarters in Al Dhaid, where Mr. Abdullah Salem bin Huwaiden, director of the department’s branch in Al Dhaid, signed for the department, and on behalf of the engineering institution, Mr Abdullah Othman Al-Taj, director of Kayan Consulting Engineering Company. Abdullah bin Huwaiden welcomed the delegation of Kayan Engineering Consultants, appreciating their eagerness and mutual interest in offering quality services to those entitled to social security, in a way that achieves the optimum benefit for members of society, especially those with limited income. The initiative aims to support and enhance community development, and to achieve the concept of partnership between government departments and the private sector with the aim of uniting efforts to serve the people of the region in general and all those entitled to social security in order to seek to serve this needy group of society and to improve the quality of life for residents in the region. Ben Hoyden added; This agreement defines the means of cooperation between the two parties in areas of common interest, especially with regard to providing architectural design transactions to build homes for people with limited income, without financial compensation, in order to develop the strategic partnership that leads to the public benefit of the Emirate of Sharjah.
