Within the activities of the family forum for female members of home care "Sharjah Social" in Al Dhaid, the community programs "Fawala Al Duha" and "Paper Bags Manufacturing" are organized by the Social Services Department at the Dhaid branch, community programs within the activities of the Family Forum, which included an initiative entitled "Fawala Al Duha" as well as a practical workshop Entitled: (Making Paper Bags), with the aim of strengthening social relations between female members, refining their skills, and developing their cognitive and cultural abilities with various skills. Abdullah bin Huwaiden, director of the Dhaid branch, said: The social program “Fuala Al-Doha” is a social program that is offered to home care employees; It is a station where elderly women meet with each other to discuss social life in the details of life and raising children, adding that the Department of Social Services is keen to implement such programs that can remove societal barriers and obstacles as well as being an important factor in linking relations and bringing community solidarity. Moreover, the program constitutes building a solid social network. Whereas, the scientific workshop (making paper bags) was organized in cooperation with Al Dhaid Art Center, as the workshop included how to form paper in the manufacture of paper bags, which are used as a useful and environmentally friendly packaging method, as this workshop aims to develop skills and innovation among the elderly. Ben Hoyden noted; Noting that the Social Services Department seeks to organize such entertainment, social and educational initiatives because of their great impact on souls by opening the way for communication with the outside world and changing the daily lifestyle by removing the elderly from the isolation they live in as well as strengthening family ties between them and the department’s employees as one family .
