The Child Protection Department of the Social Services Department in Sharjah hosted a coordination meeting with the delegation of the Sharjah Special Education Authority to discuss the quality of communications from private schools and nurseries, in addition to setting up a joint working mechanism to deal with the reports received in this regard. The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Child Protection Department, was attended by: Abdullah Al Marzouqi, Director of the Department of Educational Operations, Nadia Al Hosani, Head of the Monitoring Department, Bader Al Hammadi from the Office of Legal Affairs, and Anoud Al Amiri from the Student Affairs Office of the Sharjah Special Education Authority. While the delegation was received by: Amina Al-Rifai, Director of the Child Protection Department, Ali Muhammad Fakhra, Head of the Support and Support Department, Samira Ali, Responsible of the Response Section to the Helpline, and Faiza Khabab, Director of the Family Forum Center. The guests were introduced to the services provided by the Child Protection Department to provide complete care for children in all aspects and to ensure that all their rights are secured, and to strive to provide a safe environment for them, in addition to how to deal with the communications received through its quality, classification and degree of seriousness. During the meeting, coordination was organized to spread awareness of the child protection policy in private schools in Sharjah through a series of educational workshops for the benefit of the administrative and teaching staff, according to a plan implemented during the academic year (2019-2020).
