Within the interest of Al Qasimi Hospital for Women, Maternity and Children in Sharjah, issues of child rights; The Department of Social Services in Sharjah organized an introductory seminar on the Child Protection Law (Wadima) for the hospital staff, with the aim of introducing the specialists and stakeholders in the field of child protection to what was mentioned in the Wadima Law and the most prominent developments on child rights issues in the United Arab Emirates. The symposium was held in the hospital’s meeting room. The symposium focused on reviewing the most important provisions of the Wadima Law on child protection and rights for the concerned employees of the hospital and their specialization and their various categories, in the presence of Dr. Safia Saif Al-Khaja, Director General of the Hospital, Ms. Mona Al-Hawai, Administrative Director of the Hospital, and a number of department heads from administrators, doctors, technicians and nursing.
