The Physiotherapy Services Center of the Department of Social Services in Sharjah was established, in accordance with Executive Council Resolution No. (3) of 2021 AD, with the aim of improving the capabilities of the locomotor system for participants in rehabilitative services, curative and recreational services. The center also provides its services in the morning and evening periods inside and outside the center, and the center with its services targets the elderly, children, the handicapped, and people who are injured and in need of physiotherapy services.
Providing physiotherapy services through field (home) visits or through a mobile physiotherapy clinic for bedridden patients or cases unable to visit the physiotherapy center for health reasons.
It is a service provided in the Elderly Services Center building in the Physiotherapy Clinic during the morning shift (from eight in the morning until two in the evening) for citizens only over the age of sixty and for free.
It is a service provided in the Elderly Services Center building in the Physiotherapy Clinic during the evening period (from two in the evening until six in the evening), and it is a fee for both citizens and expatriates under the age of sixty.
