Sumaya Al Hosani, Director of the Department's Human Resources Department, explained The number of training programs that were implemented during the first half of 2019 amounted to about 243 programs that included lectures, specialized technical workshops, rehabilitative training programs, and scientific workshops accompanying scientific conferences, forums and seminars; This is based on 133 programs implemented outside the department, and 110 training programs inside the department, including the professional forum programs and other training programs. Whereas, the number of employees participating in the external training programs amounted to about (544) employees belonging to various job categories, while the number of employees who benefited from the internal programs reached about 622 employees. With regard to the training programs that were held in coordination with the Human Resources Department of the Government of Sharjah; It included a training program on “judicial seizure rulings” for the benefit of 14 specialists from the department’s employees. The Professional Diploma for Child Protection was also implemented for the benefit of 13 participants. The vocational forum is a gateway to imparting skills .. noting that the professional forum launched by the department since 2017 is considered the most prominent qualifying event that the department carries out for the benefit of its employees by allocating two days every month to implement various programs presented by its employees with expertise and competence to the rest of the employees to acquire new skills and demonstrate Their views on better developing services in the department in all fields, as the number of participants for the first half of 2019 reached about 1815; The department believes in the importance of specialized training in achieving the highest levels of quality in performance and work.
