The “Safety Network” was established in the Department of Social Services in Sharjah, to be a link between the cases registered with the department and the members joining the network from companies and institutions, in order to provide urgent support for humanitarian cases, crises and disasters at the emirate level to all those affiliated with the department’s services, and to open the way for Everyone to participate in this humanitarian work, by concluding agreements between the department and partners from various entities: governmental, private, federal, or even with individuals wishing to contribute and provide assistance. According to Hessa Al-Hammadi, Director of the Community Cohesion Department, the number of partners in the “Aman Network” reached 11, and the partners are: Madaniyah Dammam for ready-made clothing trade, Beauty Salon, Clear Vision Optics, North Corner Electrical Tools, Health, Diplomatic Ready-made Clothes Trade, Al-Mithaq Tailoring Men’s Clothes, Dar Al-Rayhan Men's Tailoring, Al-Khaled Opticals, Time Ruby Hotel Apartments, Time Express Hotel, and the Golden Loaf Foundation, expressing their hope that the number of partners from various sectors, as well as for those who wish, will increase. The “Aman Network” is a program for urgent response and support for the beneficiary groups in the department, and it aims to provide contributions in exceptional and urgent circumstances such as natural disasters, accidents, circumstances resulting from crimes, and cases of urgent intervention, which means every incident or circumstance whose presence or continuation may pose a danger to the individual. affected person and requires rapid intervention by providing in-kind or material contributions to beneficiaries from the low-income category registered with the department. Such cases are reached through periodic research affiliated with the Department of Social Assistance in the department, which is responsible for these tasks, and has a team working on the ground that makes visits. On the ground for those registered in the department, the case manager records the necessary requirements and submits them to the relevant committee for approval. These are considered priority cases for social care, and we and our partners strive together to raise their standard of living and improve their quality of life. The services provided to the network are varied, such as cultural, health, psychological, educational, advisory, legal, in-kind services and many others. Al-Hammadi stresses the necessity of raising the level of support for the private sector and its partnership with the government sector, as it is an integral part of society, as well as the necessity of sustaining these partnerships, to help those in need and raise their standard of living. From this standpoint, institutions, companies and stores in the private sector called for cooperation with the network, and to support the network in many magazines and categories, as companies specialized in the field of living can support the network by providing household appliances, electrical and electronic devices, such as furnishings and furniture, as well as providing urgent maintenance services for roofs. Concrete or house painting, providing building materials, sanitary ware or sanitary services, in addition to providing food and clothing. In addition to assistance in the health aspect, such as pharmacies, health centers, hospitals, and laboratories, we call on them to provide assistance to provide necessary medications for urgent cases, and therapeutic services such as urgent tooth extractions in health centers, performing operations in hospitals, free examinations, and free consultations, in addition to providing laboratory testing services such as blood tests. And rays of all kinds. On the educational side, partners from educational institutions such as institutes, schools, colleges, universities and institutes can contribute by providing private lessons and school facilities, and by providing free study seats in schools and colleges, in addition to covering tuition fees for urgent cases. On the legal side, law firms and legal consultations can also contribute to the network by providing legal support services such as legal consultations and making urgent settlements for beneficiaries when crimes and damages occur that require urgent intervention. Legal intervention is limited to arranging the circumstances only, without pleading procedures and others.
