The Department of Social Services in Sharjah has achieved a pioneering achievement by obtaining the certificate of conformity to the international standard ISO 31000 in risk management, from Lloyd’s Register International, after passing all the requirements for obtaining the certificate. This victory comes from the department’s keenness to achieve the best international standards and specifications in Performance management and development system, where the Risk Division of the Corporate Performance Department has developed an internal system that works to inventory the risks that may occur in the department, ensure preparedness and readiness to confront risks, and develop a mechanism to address them based on ISO 31 specifications. On the occasion, Fatima Daoud, Director of the Corporate Performance Department in the department, said: Obtaining the ISO certificate in risk management is a new achievement that is added to the record of the Department of Social Services in Sharjah, which is full of achievements that it achieves day after day, in accordance with its adherence to the strategy of sustainability and continuous development in its services and future aspirations, which are in the interest of humanity first, with all segments of society and within the system.
