Alia Al Zaabi, Director of the Social Aid Department at the Social Services Department in Sharjah, explained that the department has given the retirees category attention and care since its establishment, similar to other societal groups concerned with it and was and is still providing financial and in-kind assistance to them, whose total number is 9786 beneficiaries who meet the conditions for obtaining Low-income people received social assistance, and it varied from one person to another, according to his salary or monthly income and the number of his family members. She explained that the service is available to apply for the supplementary grant for retirees from citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah via the website of the Department of Social Services, https://sssd.shj.ae/, filling out the service application form electronically and attaching the required documents, namely: a copy of the Emirates ID card, A copy of the passport, a statement of the value and destination of retirement, a salary certificate in the event of work after retirement, a statement of retirement shares in the name of the deceased retiree, signing an acknowledgment of the validity of the data and documents, and verifying the validity of the data and documents by allowing the department to inquire electronically or request documents from the relevant authorities Upon approval, the bank card issuance form is signed, and the service completion period does not exceed one month from registration.
