The Department of Social Services in Sharjah has been implementing many projects and initiatives in support of social responsibility programs, during the blessed month of Ramadan, especially those related to community groups, in cooperation with its partners from government agencies, private institutions and the contributions of community members. This approach comes from the department's belief that the roles of institutions contribute from achieving success or providing services to leaving an impact that serves the community and its members. It launches many humanitarian initiatives and programs that have a positive impact on society in general, in light of the approach adopted by the emirate to provide a decent life for the community. Community initiatives Hessa Al Hammadi, director of the Department of Community Cohesion in the department, revealed some community initiatives, which are the provision of various services such as haircuts for children from the children's care home and the elderly from the elderly care home, which is provided by a men's barbershop, and similar services for mothers and girls from the home Child care by specialized cosmetic centers. In addition to doing volunteer work or sponsoring events in the community that serve the surrounding individuals, with the aim of achieving the well-being of individuals and strengthening relationships through which they develop their skills and provide a safe environment for them. 7 community projects. And "You are our paradise" and contribute to supporting and integrating senior citizens of parents into society and their participation in the International Day for the Elderly by distributing gifts that reach their homes and make them happy. And "Sanad" to contribute to supporting low-income and needy families. And "Basma" contributes to improving housing for less fortunate families. And "Bashama" contributes to providing foodstuffs to low-income people and needy families. And the "Risks" project, which contributes to covering the expenses of performing the Hajj or Umrah rituals for members of the social shelters, and finally, "The Joy of Eid", which contributes to providing a "gift" for children to make them happy on the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
