In her speech, Al-Marri touched on a detailed explanation of the new mechanisms followed in implementing the Supreme Decree of His Highness the Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah regarding the system of disbursing subsidies and social assistance to citizens in the Emirate of Sharjah, which included social groups in society in a way that provides a decent living for all citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah. Al-Marri also touched on; Speaking to the mechanism for calculating entitlement to social security assistance, in accordance with specific conditions stipulated by the decision of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, pointing out that all the provisions and articles of the decision and its terms of reference approved by the Executive Council aim to provide assistance to low-income citizens of the emirate permanently residing in it, as The subsidy component was increased by 100% to reach 309 million dirhams annually. Afaf Al-Marri presented a detailed explanation about the new mechanisms that have been developed, which are represented in the mechanism of objection and claim, explaining that the beneficiary has the right to object through the followed mechanism, in the event that the value of the assistance he receives is reduced or canceled, or even he can object in the absence Approval of the allocation within a period of six months. As for the claim mechanism, it authorizes the department to recover the value of the aid that the beneficiary received while he was not entitled to, either because he changed his social status, increased his social income, or other reasons. On his part, Jasim Al Hammadi, Director of the Knowledge Office Department, reviewed the sectors of the department and the services it provides to the target population of each sector, indicating that it contains four main sectors: the social security sector, the welfare sector, social protection and the community service sector in addition to the support services sector, where the department provides its services through eight The branches are: Khorfakkan, Kalba, Dibba Al-Hisn, Dhaid, Al-Bataih, Al-Madam, Maliha, and Al-Hamriyah.
