Sumaya Khalil Al Hosani, Director of the Human Resources Department in the department, stated that the Social Services Department seeks to move forward towards implementing its strategic plan to achieve its vision, mission and goals, according to what serves the goals of the emirate, and serves the employee by developing his skills that he acquires through courses and training programs, both within its specialty And keeping abreast of new and updated methods in a field and getting to know them, this number (2546) employees participated in (370) of a series of courses and training programs during 2017. While Al Hosani added that the department is keen to develop its annual training plan in line with the actual training needs of employees of different specialties and levels of employment, in compliance with the requirements of comprehensive quality that develop year after year, and in implementation of the department's strategy aimed at continuous improvement in the performance of its human cadres, the department created in 2017 A new system in training its cadres under the name (the Professional Forum) by allocating two days a month to implement various programs provided by its employees with expertise and competence to the rest of the employees to acquire them new skills and express their views to develop services in the department b Every best in all fields, as a meeting place between the employees of the department in all branches, role and departments, because of the belief in the department of the importance of qualitative training specialized in reaching the highest levels of quality in performance and work, where more than (154) programs were organized within the professional forum in 2017, and each specialized Management in the Social Services Department, an educational hour per month (internally) for its employees in various fields (cultural, social, medical, educational, educational, etc.), which totaled (99) educational hours during 2017. In order to qualify employees and develop their competence in a way that serves the community, the Department organized two professional diplomas during 2017, the first: a professional diploma in social service in cooperation with the Community College of the University of Sharjah, which was organized based on the recommendations of the seventh social service conference in 2016, which aims to rehabilitate And providing workers academically and professionally with specialized materials in the field of social service and mechanisms of good health professional practice with individuals, families and groups, as it spanned over two semesters (32 weeks), and includes (30) credit hours in addition to (100) hours for field training, for 17 candidates from Circle And government agencies. With regard to the second professional diploma: in protecting the rights of the child, which is considered one of the most important programs needed by the institutions working in the field of securing the rights and protection of the child, given the presence of employees who deal directly with children victims of violence from different specializations or holders of a high school diploma, so offering A professional diploma for child protection to qualify workers and provide them with the necessary specialized knowledge and mechanisms of correct and sound professional practice to protect the child and deal with him and his parents, by graduating 15 employees from the department and the participating government agencies, including: The Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Sharjah Education Council, MOR administration Examine family development, children centers administration, Sharjah Police General Command. The Director of the Human Resources Department confirmed that the department has gone out of great interest to (63) male and female students from universities in training and preparing them to engage in the labor market by subjecting them to practical training programs for varying periods in different work specialties and assigning them to real work tasks to live the actual work environment and gain job and personal skills, in Various departments and branches and various services provided by the department.
