The Aman House of the Sharjah Social Services Department organized workshops and lectures on virtual platforms for the benefit of inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institution of the Sharjah Police General Command, in coordination and cooperation with a number of partner agencies. The workshops and lectures were held remotely in compliance with safety procedures and to continue applying the precautionary aspects, as the programs included; Lectures and religious lessons presented by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Endowments entitled "Good words rise and good work raises it", while programs for "painting, sculpture and graphics" were presented by the Sharjah Art Center with the aim of developing the artistic awareness of the participants, in addition to rehabilitation programs for home production entitled "Printing skills on Candles "provided by the Production Center of the Social Services Department. Fatima Ismail, Director of Dar Al Aman, stated that the house aims to establish these programs as a kind of community participation and institutional integration with the administration of the penal and correctional institution In imparting knowledge, refining skills, raising the cultural level of inmates, and developing their positive behavior that will positively affect their self-confidence, as well as contribute to their integration into society. She indicated that Dar Al Aman receives children of female inmates in penal and correctional facilities in Sharjah Police, to provide them with a safe social incubator, under specific conditions, with the aim of strengthening the societal and humanitarian role in caring for the child, and providing various aspects of care for the children of female inmates to give the "inmate" mother the opportunity to engage in correctional and rehabilitation programs in The foundation by providing safety, warmth and tenderness for their children.
