The Department of Social Services in Sharjah celebrated the honoring of the first male and female contestants at the conclusion of its first competition for the Holy Qur’an, which it organized remotely, through visual technology platforms, in cooperation with the Foundation of the Noble Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah in Sharjah. The competition, which was launched during the year 2020 AD through the virtual platform Zoom, included 4 categories of the department’s employees from all categories, with the aim of encouraging the affiliates to memorize and understand the Holy Qur’an. The department allocated valuable cash prizes for the ten winners of the various participating age groups, which are (age group 60) The age group (40 to 59) and the age group (20 to 39) in addition to the age group (13 to 19) and the age group (6 to 12).
