Issuing a certificate to whomever is concerned to adopt a child

This is a service available to foster families to request a certificate stating that they are fostering and caring for a person who has lost social care.

  • Executive Council Resolution No. (33) of 2024 AD amending Executive Council Resolution No. (29) of 2023 AD regarding the formation of the Permanent Committee for Those Losing Social Care
  • Federal Decree-Law No. (24) of 2022 regarding persons of unknown parentage
  • Federal Decree-Law No. (41) of 2024 regarding the issuance of the Personal Status Law
  • Cabinet Resolution No. (54) of 2024 AD issuing the executive regulations of Federal Decree-Law No. (24) of 2022 regarding the Levant of persons of unknown parentage
  • Submitting the application from the foster family on the website
  • Complete all required data 
  • Send the certificate to the President's Office for approval.

  • There must be a decision to adopt from the Standing Committee for the Deprived of Social Care.
