
The Social Education Department at the Sharjah Social Services Department participated in the International Children's Day, which falls on November 20 of each year, by organizing a special celebration for this occasion that aims to enhance the status of children and raise awareness of their rights. The celebration was held at Al Zahia Theater - City Center. It included many entertainment, awareness, poetry, singing, mental and motor competitions, in addition to distributing gifts to children. According to Naema Al Zarouni, Director of the Social Education Department, the invitation was extended to members of the community and children participated in it, who gathered to watch the free play "The International Child", which revolves around children's rights and raising awareness of them, and the noble values in our lives. The play was held in cooperation with the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators and Al Shoala Private School. Al Zarouni also delivered a speech on the occasion, in which she welcomed all the children and congratulated them on the International Children's Day, which celebrates their innocence and dreams that light up the future. She added that on this day we must all remember that every child has the right to love, education, and security, to grow up and achieve his dreams, because children are the hope that we build, and the smile that plants joy in our hearts. The children affiliated with the Social Care Home for Children affiliated with the department also participated in the attendance.
