Hessa Al Hammadi, Director of the Community Cohesion Department, said that the "We Volunteer for Sharjah" initiative offers many participations with its members from individuals, institutions, government departments and also schools, as it allows them to practice the process of planting wheat seeds, provided with thanks from the Department of Agriculture and Animal Wealth, which is our partner this year, and which explained how to plant seeds to the participants through a virtual workshop held this morning. She added that what is remarkable about the initiative is that it allows everyone, from individuals, institutions and school students, to plant seeds in outdoor yards and surrounding areas, which encourages them to care for the outdoor environment and introduces them to the importance of agriculture in our large and small surroundings. It also enhances the value of volunteering through this program and all the programs carried out by the Community Cohesion Department, from various volunteer programs including volunteer fields in which the volunteer reaps volunteer ethical values that hone his skills and instill in him a love of volunteer work in his home and external environment. She concluded her speech by saying that the "Sharjah Harvest" initiative encourages government and civil entities and the private sector to participate in implementing and supporting constructive initiatives that contribute to enhancing aspects of community and humanitarian development, and its pioneering humanitarian and volunteer projects to support and encourage various segments of society, including institutions. On the other hand, it spreads volunteering among members of society and its institutions with a group of initiatives that contribute to enhancing awareness of the importance of volunteering.
