The 25th Al Dhaid Dates Festival, organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, celebrated the planting of date palms in the UAE to support the industry to nurture cultural heritage. The Department of Social Services in Sharjah is participating in the festival, which will be held from July 28-20 at Expo Al Dhaid, with the participation of many government agencies. The festival, in its eighth session, coincides with the wet season in the eastern region.
