Dar Al Aman, affiliated with the Department of Social Services in Sharjah, held a series of targeted events for the benefit of 33 inmates from penal and correctional institutions in Sharjah, in addition to their families, as well as released inmates. These activities included: Awareness examinations and lectures targeted the families of inmates, and a social awareness lecture was also held. The importance of social support for family protection was discussed at the Centro Hotel - Sharjah, where it attracted the families of inmates and those released. In a related context, a religious lecture entitled “Taboos and their Impact on the Individual and Society” was presented in the social care homes complex, for the benefit of 12 released inmates, in addition to involving them in the volunteer programs platform to motivate them to engage in volunteer work and invest their time in community service. In this context, Fatima Al Mazmi, Director of Dar Al Aman, stressed the importance of the programs and events organized by the House, noting that they contribute to integrating inmates and facilitating their lives, in cooperation with the management of the Punitive and Correctional Institution of Sharjah Police. Al Mazmi expressed her thanks and appreciation to the management of the Punitive and Correctional Institution at Sharjah Police, praising their role, efforts and cooperation in promoting the welfare of this segment of society.
