The Sharjah Federal Court of First Instance honored the Department of Social Services in Sharjah this morning during the third family forum organized by the court under the slogan “Innovation in resolving family disputes,” which was held at the headquarters of the Academy of Police Sciences in the University City. The honor was received by the representative of the department, Fayza Khabbab, Director of the Family Forum Department, who appreciated this honor, which comes as a result of the permanent and ongoing cooperation and partnership between the department and the court, because they both seek to preserve family cohesion by implementing provisions related to children and the family in a civilized and humane framework that preserves the interests of all parties, especially Child Rights. She said, “As a family forum, we implement family sessions by social workers and vision implementers affiliated with the forum, and they are concerned with implementing the vision for children in foster care with the aim of securing the child’s right to see his parents in a safe manner and providing an appropriate environment in implementation of the provisions of the vision issued by the court, in order to achieve a safe and cultural separation, and to preserve On the psychology of children and their parents, and in the first place, avoiding exposing the child to any setback due to vision problems and preparing for his proper realization to reach the level of awareness and transferring the vision to the natural environment, which is the home, away from any phenomena that negatively affect the child’s psychology. Khabbab added that the Family Forum, in cooperation with the Family Court, works to regulate the parental relationship in a way that enables children to enjoy their family, educational, health and other rights, as it is the protective shield for the child and secures his rights, and represents proper planning for the parental relationship with children after separation. In addition to implementing provisions related to the family relationship between separated parents. As well as concluding parental relationship agreements in coordination with the family court, providing guidance and family reconciliation, studying the family situation, and providing a specialized opinion on child custody based on the court’s request or executive document.
