Maryam Al Qaseer, Director of the Social Education Department at the Sharjah Social Services Department, stressed the need to renew the programs and events that the department offers to its diverse audience, which includes all family members. Hence, the Social Education Department, which is in great contact with members of society, is interested in adding new means in All events in which you participate, with the aim of attracting the public and delivering the desired social messages to serve the community. Al Quseir's statement came during the launch of the Sharjah Events Festival, which is organized by the Sharjah Government Media Office under the slogan “Shine with its Activities,” which was launched for the first time two years ago, and is held on the Al Majaz Waterfront, from 14-17 of this December. Al-Quseir said, “Such festivals are opportunities for communication and exploration, especially for children, away from repetition and routine. Therefore, we have decided that our participation will depend a lot on movement and attracting the eye through expressive and theatrical scenes that the child himself presents to the children’s guests of the festival, and thus the message is conveyed.” Which we want quickly to them, and during our participation over four continuous days, we will present four different workshops that include representative situations that address a social problem, such as bullying, for example, or social values, because the representative situations have proven more useful than traditional workshops, as movement and images have proven to have a strong and rapid impact on understanding and influence. She added, “We expect a large turnout, especially from families, because the event coincides with the school vacation, in addition to the beautiful atmosphere and choosing the appropriate place for the event.”
