Statement: Noura Al-Amiri The Family Forum Center of the Department of Social Services in Sharjah, since its establishment, has achieved 16304 vision meetings between children and their separated parents. Afaf Al-Marri reviewed the role of the center and the goals for which it was established as part of its review of the services provided by the department during a working paper presented at the first Sharjah Child Protection Forum organized by Sharjah Child Protection Network in cooperation with the Sharjah Child-friendly Office. The center, which was established 8 years ago, aims to secure the right of the child to see his parents safely and provide an appropriate environment in implementation of the provisions of the vision in order to achieve a safe and civilized separation that helps children to social and psychological stability and provide guidance to families to conclude parental relationship agreements for proper planning of the parental relationship with children after separation. It was taken into consideration when creating it that the place is appropriate and has a TV screen, stories, colors and a play area in the outdoor square, so that the vision is within specific hours during the days of the week inside the center, and parents can accompany the children in a comfortable atmosphere that ensures the psychological stability of the child and his parents, while there are employees Support specialists when needed. The vision program for children includes taking them by their parents and returning them, and taking them to sleep, and all of that is done according to the supervision of the center affiliated with the department so that the vision program is implemented specifically without any violation by the parties of the father and mother, since the center works to implement the provisions issued by the custodians ’vision, as all Cases are referred by judicial enforcement order from the Sharia court.
