The Social Services Department in Khorfakkan organized the first Eid Al-Adha Marketing Exhibition for Productive Families, which was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Community Empowerment during May 2025, coinciding with the advent of Eid Al-Adha. The Ministry of Community Empowerment, represented by the Customer Happiness Office in Khorfakkan, hosted the exhibition to support productive families in the city. Such exhibitions are held to support small businesses by marketing and promoting their products, opening new horizons to reach new customers, as well as empowering these families economically, achieving self-sufficiency, and improving the standard of living. Twelve productive families from both entities participated in the exhibition, including those affiliated with the "Intaj" Center at the Sharjah Social Development Department. The exhibition featured displays of products from the "Intaj" packages for skilled heritage crafts and the "Atayeb" package for food and sweets. The exhibition was attended by many visitors from government departments in Khorfakkan and members of the community, with the aim of supporting these families, encouraging them to be self-reliant, and motivating them to become entrepreneurs.
