As usual during the holiday seasons, the Social Services Department in Sharjah is preparing to launch the Eid Al-Adha Production Exhibition, which is organized by the “Intaj” Center affiliated with the department for the beneficiaries of productive families, from May 29 to June 01. The exhibition is held at the “Al-Rahmaniya Center”. What is striking is the increase in the number of participating families compared to previous editions, as the exhibition is attended by productive families from Sharjah and its branches in the emirate who are members of the packages: the “Mahra” package for heritage crafts, the “Anaqa” package for clothes and accessories, and the “Ibdah” package for handicrafts. All the products on display are dedicated to suit the holidays. On this occasion, Maryam Al Hammadi, Director of the "Intaj" Center, said: "It is customary to organize exhibitions for "Intaj" members during Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha, to allow our members to introduce their distinctive homemade products and to introduce the public to their uniqueness with elegant and high-level touches. All products, regardless of the participating packages, are subject to evaluation and quality measurement before being displayed, in terms of the raw materials used and external appearance, in addition to the availability of product cards on each product. Not to mention that all members participate in the training workshops provided by the center free of charge to achieve the required quality and innovative ideas in the fields of elegance, sweets, accessories, and others. All products bear the "Intaj" brand name." She added that participating in exhibitions encourages marketing of products and introducing them to the public, which leads to improving the economic level of families benefiting from social assistance by empowering them with home production and offering competitive products and services. Al Hammadi stated that encouraging offers will be presented during the Eid Al Adha exhibition. For a purchase of AED 300, the buyer receives a purchase voucher provided by the Sharjah Cooperative Society.
